OS Police cuffs

On Saturday October 27th, members of the Owen Sound Police Service had been looking for a 30 year old man in the downtown core, who had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

Just before 8:30 a.m. police received a call abouta male acting strangely in the 600 block of 2nd Avenue West which matched the description of the wanted subject. Police located the man a couple of blocks away however the man fled on foot. After a short foot pursuit the recently paroled male was taken into custody.

The man’s Parole had been revoked which was the reason for the Canada Wide Warrant. The male was subsequently returned to a Correctional Institution.
