Just before 3:00 p.m. the Owen Sound Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of 10th Street East and 4th Avenue East within the city of Owen Sound. A 2016 Kia SUV was being operated by an Owen Sound man who was travelling westbound on 10th Street East. A 2006 Hyundai automobile was being operated by a Bruce Peninsula woman who was eastbound on 10th Street East. The matter is still under investigation.
Grey County EMS and the Owen Sound Fire Department also responded and as a result the driver of the Hyundai and her passenger were transported to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
