On March 4, 2019 shortly after 5:00 p.m. Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle on Victoria Street in the Municipality of Meaford. Two males were observed with the vehicle. One male was identified while the second male was unknown. He was described as being approximately 5'5", slim build, wearing dark jeans and a black hoodie.

Police located the suspect vehicle unattended in the parking lot of Victoria Village located Victoria Street in Meaford. Investigation revealed that the vehicle, a black 2015 Ford 150 pick-up truck, was reported stolen from Halton Region on March 3rd. The recovered vehicle was towed from the scene.

The investigation continues and police are asking anyone with information which may assist to call Grey County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
