On March 17, 2019, just before 6:00 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police, together with the Inter-Township Fire Department, responded to a structure fire on Grey Road 1 near Indian Acres Road in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The occupants, a 72 year old female and a 75 year old male were able to exit the residence which sustained severe damage.

The fire was not deemed suspicious.
