Ontario Provincial Police LogoOPP execute search warrant in South Bruce Peninsula. A Female has been charged with drug-related offences.

As a result of an ongoing criminal investigation, on Wednesday afternoon, May 8, 2019, members of the Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) - Grey-Bruce, executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) at a residence on Claude Street in Wiarton.

As a result of the warrant to search, police seized methamphetamine, psilocybin, oxycodone pills and two glass vials containing an unknown brownish powder. The combined street value of the drugs was approximately $1,000.

In addition to the drugs, police also seized digital scales, packaging material, needles, drug kits, drug paraphernalia, and a cell phone.

33-year old Michelle Christine Curry of South Bruce Peninsula is charged with:

- Possession of Cocaine
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Possession of Psilocybin
- Possession of Oxycodone
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order

She is scheduled to appear in court on June 13, 2019 in Owen Sound.
