ospslogoThe Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) and the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services (MCSCS) are proud to announce the theme for this year’s Police Week which takes place May 12 to 18, 2019: “Proudly Supporting Our Police”. The theme promotes the policing profession.

The 2019 theme, Celebrating Policing and Community Partnerships, provides an opportunity for citizens to discover the many ways police are working with and celebrating our community partnerships.

The Owen Sound Police Service has several events planned throughout the week.

At 9:30 a.m, Owen Sound Police officers will be grocery shopping ‘for a cause’ with members of the Meaford Optimist Club as well as students from East Ridge and Alexandra Elementary School.
