Ontario Provincial Police LogoPolice have now identified the pedestrian killed in a collision in Shallow Lake.

On the May 13, 2019 at 12:39 a.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a serious motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian on Highway 6 between Maplewood Crescent and Spencer Street, Shallow Lake, Township of Georgian Bluffs.

Grey Bruce OPP officers arrived at the scene with members of Inter-Township Fire Department and Grey County Paramedics. The pedestrian was transported to hospital with vital signs absent. She was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The deceased has been identified as Mary-Joseph Hill, 54 years old from Shallow Lake.

OPP continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
