On August 24, 2019 at 12:03 p.m., Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an incident at a rural property at Sideroad 3 in the Township of Chatsworth. Grey County Paramedic Services and Chatsworth Fire Department assisted.

The incident involved farm machinery equipment that was being operated by the occupant of the property. A 3 year-old suffered serious injuries. The child was transported by air ambulance to hospital.

OPP Grey Bruce Crime Unit continue to investigate the incident.
