BearsinBlueAttack to "take a bite out of cancer" at upcoming hockey game as they battle the Mississauga Steelheads on Saturday November 26th at 7:30pm. The 4th annual Bears in Blue is an event that raises awareness and funds for men's cancer. The event is put on by The Canadian Cancer Society, The Owen Sound Attack, and Bayshore Broadcasting.

Players will be wearing one of a kind blue jersey's to honor loved ones who could not be here with us and in celebration of those who are. After the game, the game worn jerseys will be auctioned off in a live auction rink side, with MPP Bill Walker at the helm of the auction. Interested parties can attain a bid number during the game if they wish to bid. Each final bidder will receive their photo with the player whose jersey they have purchased.

During the game, there will be a silent auction on the concourse, where fans can bid on some amazing prizes to support the initiative. In addition, a chuck a puck will happen during the 2nd intermission for more chances to win great prizes!

To introduce the special Bears in Blue jerseys, players from the Attack will be at

Boston Pizza in Owen Sound from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Fred Wallace from Bayshore Broadcasting will be there giving out a chance to win a night out for four including a Boston Pizza dinner and Owen Sound Attack tickets. Boston Pizza will generously be donating 10% from all food sales to the Bears in Blue initiative, which helps fund prostate cancer research.

Fans are encouraged to come out to support a great cause and meet their favourite players. Fans will also have the ability to sign up for a bid number for the live jersey auction happening at the game.
