The Attack have ended November with a scoring drought, managing to score just one goal in two weekend games – both of them losses.

In Sarnia Friday night, Jeffrey Gilligan scored in the Attack's 2-1 loss. Jack Flinn stopped 28 shots to keep his team in the game, and was named third star of the game.

At home Saturday night against the North Bay Battalion, the Attack weren't able to get on the scoreboard, losing 3-0 in a lackluster match. The first goal came on a five-on-three and the last was an empty netter. The Battalion managed 24 shots on Attack goalie Michael McNiven, while the Attack peppered Battalion goalie Evan Cormier with 30 shots, although none managed to find the back of the net.

Scoring for North Bay were Kyle Wood, Mike Baird and Mike Amadio.

The two losses have dropped the Attack to last in the Midwest Division with 29 points. They'll face the league-leading Otters in Erie Wednesday, then visit the Rangers Friday night. The next home game is Dec. 6 when Kitchener visits.
