Meaford Hall is gearing up to reopen at 100 percent capacity with a performance by Brass Transit, a Tribute to Chicago, on March 12. This performance will occur exactly 2 years to the date since The Trews played as the last full capacity show at the venue on March 12, 2020.

“It’s almost as surreal to finally reopen our doors to a full audience, as it did when we shut down,” said Susan Lake, Manager of Cultural Services. “After so many false starts over the past two years, to finally arrive at this point in time is a great, joyful relief.”

Meaford Hall will continue to follow all provincial mandates regarding Proof of Vaccination, Mask Wearing and Capacity Restrictions. As of Thurs March, all Meaford Hall events will transition to 100% occupancy and proof of vaccination will no longer be required. Masks must be worn at all times except while eating and drinking, per Provincial mandates. The bar will be open for beverage purchases. The venue cleaning protocols continue and modern HVAC system has been inspected to ensure utmost safety for staff, performers and patrons.

Brass Transit, who has toured North America has hits like, Saturday In The Park, 25 or 6 To 4, If You Leave Me Now, Feelin’ Stronger Every Day and You’re The Inspiration that has left crowds in awe, inspiring multiple standing ovations and comments like: “Spine-Tingling!” “Brought me back to my youth!” and “Perfect in every detail!” is the first of a great lineup of shows in March which includes Chantal Kreviazuk, Matt Andersen, Downchild Blues Band and The Stampeders.
