Saturday, August 15th at 7:30pm, at the River Café, 986 main St., Local musical hero Richard Laviolette returns to Owen Sound for a concert. Laviolette was raised on music and never kicked the habit. His own musical career sprouted out of the Guelph music scene and is marked by near constant collaboration and experimentation, spanning genres from folk, to country, and rock and roll. suggested donation $10


Sunday, August 16th, at the Marine Rail Museum, 1155, 1st Ave W., TD Harbour Nights presents Mr. Larry Jensen with his supremely talented band The Great Unknown and special guests. Larry Jensen has appeared many times on the TD Harbour Nights stage since its first season in 2002. As Owen Sound's perhaps best known and appreciated songwriter, he's the perfect choice to conclude our 2015 season "Celebrating the Songwriter"
