Two brothers, Joe and Phil Klages, decided that Desboro needed somewhere to have more intimate concerts, since the Community Centre was torn down in 2009. The opportunity appeared when the Anglican Church came up for sale. They saw the potential and took the chance to contribute to the community.

After a year of renovations, the Desboro Music Hall is finally ready to open its doors with its inaugural year. We will host a monthly Concert Series from April – October. It is also available to the community for hall rentals. This gives people the choice of an intimate, warm space to hold their event or meeting.

Desboro Music Hall is kicking off its Concert Series with a Grand Opening Concert on April 30, 2016 featuring Rob Elder, Drew McIvor and Larry Jensen. Come out and support local musicians and a local venue. Doors open at 7pm. Music starts at 7:30pm.

The rest of the Concert Series include Juno nominated Oh Susanna on May 14, 2016. She'll have local favourite, Our Shotgun Wedding opening for her. On June 4, we enjoy a night of musical storytelling with Ashley Condon, all the way from P.E.I and the opener, Paul J McInnis . July 2, we rock out with the blues with Alfie Smith and Nicole Christian and our opener, Gathering Sparks' catchy tunes. On August 12, we get to hear "Canadian history in harmony" with Trent Severn and the talented Leah
Mathies opening for them. September sees us switching gears with The Schotts, a husband and wife bluegrass duo and Zakary Miller with his "Canadiana swing" opening for them. Finally, our Closing Show is with the high energy, Mark Reeves, his guitar and his harmonica. It's going to a great season. Don't miss out.

Desboro Music Hall is located in the heart of Desboro at 136215 Grey Road 40, beside the baseball diamonds and in front of the Arena.

Tickets are $25 (including H.S.T).
