owen sound transit buildingThe City of Owen Sound is undertaking a full review of its current transit operations.

This study is looking at the City’s existing fixed-route system, including route coverage, route ridership, on time performance, infrastructure perspectives, and other elements to identify the core service delivery of transit. The City is seeking input into the ideal transit system for the City of Owen Sound.

How to Participate
This study involves a two-part engagement process, which includes two rounds of virtual Stakeholder and Public Engagement sessions and online questionnaires. This first round, for input on the existing system, was held in mid-June.

Currently, the City is undergoing its second round of stakeholder and public engagement. This round is to gather public feedback and preferences on the transit service options and supporting elements. All feedback and comments received will be used to help the city determine various models of providing transit to the citizens of Owen Sound.

You are invited to participate in the virtual stakeholder and public engagement meeting on August 4 or August 5. These online meetings will be hosted twice to encourage participation. Please register for one of them through the following links.
