Hi everyone!
I was invited to be Owen Sound Field Naturalists “Earth Week” speaker this year. This annual event normally takes place aboard the beautiful Chi Cheemaun, which hibernates in Owen Sound harbour and spends the warmer months ferrying people and vehicles between the Saugeen (Bruce) Peninsula and Manitoulin Island.
We thought it would be fun not to just do a traditional talk, but to make it a partly musical event…I’m thrilled that my son Noah agreed to join me for the music-making!
Because of the coronavirus situation, we’ve rescheduled it to be an on-line Facebook Live event this coming Sunday evening.
It’s being described as “a thought-provoking exploration of perspectives on ecology and nature, as expressed through stories, imagery and music.”
We hope you can join us from the comfort of your homes at 8:00 pm EDT on Sunday, April 26.
The event can be seen and heard at that time, online at YouTube by visiting:
