Dear all families in Grey Bruce,

With Thanksgiving approaching, and as the Medical Officer of Health for Grey Bruce I am very thankful to everyone in Grey Bruce for the amazing support they have shown in truly investing in efforts to best position our communities for success in weathering the COVID-19 emergency, and keeping our families safe.

We have done exceptionally well, but we cannot lower our guard yet. Not until we have a vaccine, which I am cautiously optimistic will be approved by the end of this year and available next year. Until then we must continue to remain diligent in adhering to the three Ws:

• Watch your distance and maintain physical distancing of 2 metres or more, when possible

• Wash your hands frequently with soap and water, or alcohol-based hand sanitizer

• Wear face coverings correctly in indoor public spaces
