As I think back on the year I think this.

Kids, instead of starting or smoking cigarettes please give to the Terry Fox Foundation. Terry said anyone who gives a dollar is as much a member of the Marathon of Hope as anyone else.

So please give a dollar. It could save someone you love a life from cancer.

Then feel good about yourself. If you do not have a dollar please save one up. As people grow older they will see how much better they are financially that they do not smoke and they will hopefully give to the Terry Fox Foundation because of it.
