The proposed construction of a massive hydroelectric pump storage plant on the Meaford Tank Range near Meaford is of concern to many residents and taxpayers in the area. A group of concerned citizens has formed “Save Georgian Bay” to help educate and increase awareness of the proposal by TransCanada Energy (formerly TransCanada Corporation).
The group is hosting a Community Information Session. Come and bring a friend or neighbor and learn more about this potential project. The session will takle place on Wednesday, November 13th, from 5 to 7PM at Coffin Ridge Winery, 599448 Conc. Rd 2 N., Annan
