I want to reach out to you, to seek your support with an important message for our communities, our industry and the entire province of Ontario.

This week, we’ve redirected some resources in order to produce a 60-second advertisement called “Be Our Best.” It recognizes all the people who are working during this battle and finishes with a strong message and an appeal to everyone, to do their part, join the fight and to STAY AT HOME to prevent the spread.

Public Health Officials tell us that our actions right now and in the next few days will make a difference. If we follow their direction – it will save lives. The projections for people who will suffer from COVID-19 infection vary from scary to staggering. We all have loved ones and friends that we’re concerned about.

These are difficult and very stressful times. I hope this video helps inspire the best in all of us, gives us hope and provides a positive message in a sea of misinformation.

This message is one of urgency at a time when we traditionally gather with family and friends. We need to join the battle, find electronic alternatives to fill that void and follow the direction of our Public Health Officials.
