We CARE logoOn September 10, 2020 help us CONNECT with each other by ASKING “how are you doing”, REACHING OUT to those you are concerned about and ENCOURAGING those needing support to seek help for World Suicide Prevention Day. We CARE poster

As a committee, the Grey Bruce We C.A.R.E. project felt the time was right to offer a community wide project for world suicide prevention day that everyone could be part of. Our community needs a warm hug right now.

This year in recognition of World Suicide Prevention Day, held annually on September 10th, the We C.A.R.E. project is offering awareness kits to the community which include a window poster, sidewalk chalk, positive messaging mirror stickers, a battery operated candle for your window, a colouring contest and a double-yellow awareness ribbons. If your family, business or organization would like a kit for your location, please email [email protected]. For more information about the Grey Bruce We C.A.R.E. project please visit www.wecaregreybruce.ca. For more details on the colouring contest, please visit www.facebook.com/thegreybrucewecareproject

We CARE colour pageColouring is a great way to take time, take space and take care during stressful times. We are asking our community to fill our social media pages with colour and messages of love and hope. During the month of September, be sure to colour this page or your own favourite colouring page and post to social media with the hashtag #wecaregb. A winner will be drawn on September 30th with the prize being a $25 gift certificate of their choice. Want it to be a higher amount? We will add $5 to the final prize amount for each of a like, a follow and a share. #wecaregb #IASP #WSPD2020
