linkedin learningThe Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library now provides library members with thousands of professional development courses through LinkedIn Learning (previously Lynda.com).

Members of the Library are able to grow their skills with video courses in business, technology and creative skills taught by industry experts. Courses can be viewed in a web browser, in a downloadable desktop app, or in a mobile app. LinkedIn Learning provides over 16,000 training tutorials ranging from a few minutes to hours of tips and advice.

Available in 7 languages (English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, simplified Chinese and Portuguese), LinkedIn Learning lets users set learning goals and can track their progress.

To try it out go to the Online Resources page on the Library’s website: www.owensound.library.on.ca. Select LinkedIn Learning from the list of resources and create an account using your library card number and PIN. You can also go straight to LinkedIn Learning using: https://www.linkedin.com/learning-login/go/osngupl. Be aware though, you must use the website link ending with OSNGUPL to directly access the Library’s LinkedIn Learning page. Accessing through the regular LinkedIn Learning page requires a fee of $35 per month.

For more information about accessing LinkedIn Learning call the Library’s Information Desk at 519-376-6623 ext. 5 or email [email protected].
