Today I Love that in my town somewhere someone is finding a twoonie on the ground or on a park bench and picking it up and thinking, this must be my lucky day.

I love that someone else is heading to their church this morning to help get things organized for some upcoming event. I love that somewhere in this little city of sound someone is practicing their music for an upcoming show they either have or are hoping for. I love that someone is just home from the hospital and will soon be feeling better. I love that someone is just home from the grocery store and will soon be cooking lunch.

I love that someone is just home from the park and is hanging up the leash before they go in to their office to start work. I love that in this town there are children in playgrounds getting ready to head to classrooms to begin their day. I love that someone is quietly excited about their plan to go to the library this afternoon. I love that someone is looking forward to coffee and conversation with a friend.

I love that in this town there are people discovering their futures at doctors offices and schools and human resources offices. I love that someone will get their driver's license today. I love that someone will notice a particular tree and realize how beautiful it is and make a note to look at it again when they pass by next time. I love that people are living and alive here. I love that I am ready to join them for today's adventures.

Today I love sipping coffee in my living room and contemplating how I have been all those people at different times in my life and no matter how much sorrow there is, I have learned to find these joys. I'm a lucky boy.
