Harmony Centre Owen Sound, a charitable organization dedicated to offering affordable space for the community to “Share, Educate, Create and Perform”, continues its 10th anniversary Ten for Ten series of Pay-What-You-Can events.

MOVIE NIGHT on Saturday, Jan. 28, will be a surprising and hilarious evening of comedy, music and a mini-festival of short films by Rob McLean, including the premier of The Dream that Lasts Forever featuring the music of Bryan Leckie. There will be a cash bar before the show begins.

Film festival accolades include the IndieX fest in Los Angeles (where his film Spaghetti and Western won Best Western Short), the Toronto Independent Film Festival (where his The Life and Death of Tom Thomson Who Was A Painter -The Director's Cut received Best Comedy Short), the Cult Critic Movie Awards (where his Once Upon A Theremin -Director's Cut picked up the Outstanding Achievement Award - One Minute Film), and many more.

As a studio musician and producer, McLean has worked with a wide variety of recording artists from around the globe.

Local musician Bryan Leckie, frontman of The Krueger Band, is a gifted and prolific storyteller through song. He draws inspiration from pop culture, history and figures such as Bob Dylan and Edgar Allen Poe. Known for his long songs and even longer albums, he's recorded over nine albums and over 120 songs most of which are available for streaming on Apple Music and Spotify.

Toronto-based Comedian Terry V. Hart is a former Second City member with over a hundred television and film credits. His most recent credits include Shitt's Creek, Private Eyes, and Workin' Moms. Hart and McLean have worked as a comedy team for many years with appearances all over the country including a main-stage performance at Summerfolk and as collaborators on McLean’s television show THAT SHOW.

Harmony Centre’s Pay-What-You-Can admission for the Ten for Ten series makes this event affordable for everyone. Tickets are available in advance, online, or at the door on the night of the performance.
