keldaandbethanynoon

This Wednesday, Aug. 2, Bethany and Kelda will serenade you with songs of love and curiosity after a stunning intro by ... Margaret Macfie!

Margaret is a rugby star who has been taking vocal lessons on and off for many years. We are delighted to have her coming to blow your socks off as she opens the show!

Bethany Matthews began studying piano at a young age and obtained an Associates Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music in 2015.

She has accompanied for musical theatre workshops, vocal and instrumental Kiwanis festival performances, RCM exams, the West Hill Secondary School vocal class, two musicals at the former OSCVI, as well as other projects with various individuals of the community.

She was the senior accompanist for the Georgian Bay Children’s Choir for several years, but resigned to allow time for more her children. Bethany is a member of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers’ Association.

Kelda got her Bachelor Of Music in the windy coulees of Lethbridge, Alberta. She hoped a train east to sell local food, dream community kitchens, and swim her summers away in Owen Sound.

Kelda is grateful for the musical opportunities she has found in Grey-Bruce including the Acapella Chamber Choir, Owen Sound Noon Hour Series, Lighthouse Swing Band, OSLT, soloist gigs, collaborative concerts, and Music Together classes.

Kelda now fills her evenings teaching privately at the Long and McQuade Lesson Centre.

Music is for sharing so concerts are open to all and pay-what-you-can.

Children and anyone who hasn't felt that folk, classical, or traditional music was for them are warmly welcomed.

Clap, laugh, and cry as you wish throughout the show.

Come early and stay to chat or sneak in or out as your schedule requires.

Bring yourself and all of your friends and acquaintances.

We look forward to seeing you!
