Interested in Automotive? Owen Sound District Secondary School (OSDSS) is announcing a NEW Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) program in Transportation Technology, with a focus on Diagnostics, beginning in September 2017.
Working out of the Automotive Lab at OSDSS, this exciting program is attractive to students in the field of Transportation Technology. Students graduating after completing a SHSM program receive a Red Seal on their diploma to identify their specialized achievement. This program offers many additional benefits to students as they prepare for their post-secondary careers and education.
Our initial community partners: Huron Tractor, Kia of Owen Sound, Barnard's Truck, E.C. King Contracting (Miller Group), Georgian Shores Marina, CSN VR Collision, Georgian College (Owen Sound) and Fanshawe College (London) are enthusiastic supporters of this program that offers students a more in-depth look at the amazing and varied career options available throughout the Transportation sector.
