summer readingIt’s time to get your summer read on! Registration for the TD Summer Reading Club starts Monday, June 22. Visit the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library’s summer reading blog to register – www.osnguplys.wordpress.com.

The TD Summer Reading Club is open to all youth (birth to grade 12) – register online through the summer reading blog. Youth earn a ballot for a weekly draw each time they complete a weekly reading log on the blog.

BINGO cards are available for early literacy (aged 0-5), school age (grades K-6), and teens (grades 6-12). Prize ballots can be earned each time a line is complete on your BINGO card for a grand prize draw at the end of the summer. Visit the blog for full details and access to the BINGO cards.

The TD Summer Reading Club runs from June 22 to August 29, 2020.

The Library’s summer programming will go virtual this year. Check out the blog each day for fun activities, like Movement Mondays, Travel Tuesdays, Wacky Wednesdays, Tell It Thursdays, and Fandom Fridays. Bring out your inner engineer with bi-weekly LEGO building challenges on July 10 & 24 and August 7 & 21.

For the youngest library members, Story Tent is back online with a live interactive story times on Zoom every Tuesday morning from July 7 to August 18. Craft kits for Story Tent activities will be available through the Library’s curbside pickup program.
