There have been 12 new Covid-19 cases reported in the past 24 hours in Grey Bruce; Southgate – 6, Hanover – 2, Owen Sound – 1, Blue Mountains – 1, Kincardine – 1, Grey Highlands – 1

That makes 53 currently active cases and 256 confirmed cases to date.  Public Health is now also reporting active probable cases - currently 17.  Probable cases are not lab confirmed, but are high-risk contacts of an active case, and also symptomatic. 211 high risk contacts of active cases have been identified.

189 people with Covid-19 in Grey-Bruce have recovered, and 14 cases were referred to other health units.

2 confirmed cases are currently hospitalized, and one probable case was hospitalized and discharged within 24 hours.  No one has died of Covid-19 in our region.

36 cases have been reported in Health Care Workers working in Grey Bruce since March.
