The Owen Sound Police Service is investigating a robbery involving a knife, which occurred on the evening of Sunday, January 8th, 2017 in an east side apartment building.
On Sunday evening two men attended a residence to smoke drugs with acquaintances. While in the apartment a man exited the kitchen brandishing a knife, ordering the 2 visitors to surrender their property. After a small of amount of valuables were surrendered, the victims fled the apartment, while being threatened by the culprit NOT to contact the police.

One of the two victims had visited the same apartment earlier in the week and was accused by the apartment's occupant to have stolen cash from his wallet.

No persons were injured during this event. The investigating officer, Cst. Hawke, advises, "This is an isolated incident that involves people known to each other. This represents no danger to the general public. The culprit knows who he is. He is urged to surrender himself, with the stolen property, to Owen Sound Police Service".
