On Saturday March 18th, 2017 just after 3:00 p.m. the Owen Sound Police Service responded to a residential break, enter and theft in the 300 block of 6th Street East.

Investigation revealed that between 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. while the residents were not home, unknown culprit(s) entered the dwelling by smashing a basement window.

A quantity of cash, jewellery and electronic were stolen. This incident is still under investigation. Anyone with information relating to this incident are asked to contact the Owen Sound Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
