MOORE KylePolice have arrested a wanted male in Huron County.

A total team effort is what it took but Huron County Ontario Provincial Police now have Kyle Moore in custody following his arrest in Huron County late this afternoon.

Moore had been wanted by Huron OPP in relation to a number of criminal offences that he committed in Huron & Perth Counties on September 25, 2017.

This morning around 11:00 a.m. a Huron OPP officer spotted a stolen Chevrolet Camaro in Clinton that was being operated by the accused. Prior to being able to make contact with the driver the stolen Camaro took off at a high rate of speed and fled out of Clinton.

Shortly after, the stolen Camaro was spotted by a Perth County OPP officer in Atwood. Once again, the accused took off and fled the area. Police then located the stolen Camaro abandoned south of Palmerston. The accused then committed a break, enter and theft in Palmerston where he stole a Dodge Ram pickup. He then returned to Huron County near Brussels whereupon he abandoned the stolen Dodge Ram pickup and stole a GMC pickup.

At that point several marked and unmarked OPP vehicles were deployed to the area in an effort to locate the suspect vehicle. With the assistance from OPP Aviation Services (Airplane Section) police personnel coordinated a takedown of the suspect vehicle on C-Line Road south of Gorrie. Upon coming to a stop the accused attempted to flee by ramming into one of the police vehicles. Ultimately, his attempt to flee was unsuccessful. Just after 5:00 p.m. he was taken into custody by members from the West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), OPP Canine and West Region Crime.

Kyle Moore, 33 years of age, of no fixed address remains in custody with a video bail hearing scheduled for October 7, 2017. The accused is facing several charges from today's events along with numerous outstanding charges from several other OPP Detachments and other municipal police services.
