Tucked in behind the parking lot of Georgian Shores United Church between 4th and 5th Avenues East, the Owen Sound Peace Labyrinth is one more of the open, free public spaces that enrich the lives of the people of this community.

On Friday, November 28 starting at 6:30 the public is invited to celebrate the labyrinth with a free warm meal and gentle live music in the church hall, followed by a little history and some reflections on the labyrinth experience. All evening visitors are welcome to walk the Chartres-style walking path which will be lit by lantern light.

labyrinth-featbThe Friends of the Labyrinth are particularly delighted, in this their third year of holding a "Labyrinth Fest", that a beautiful star quilt has been created and offered for silent auction by quilter Jo Eckersley. The highest bidder will be announced at 8:45 as the evening draws to a close.

The proceeds from the quilt as well as any donations offered at the Labyrinth Fest will be added to the Marg and Don Capel Legacy fund at the Community Foundation Grey Bruce, to be used exclusively for the ongoing maintenance of the Owen Sound Peace Labyrinth.
