A Grey Transit Route (GTR) is coming to a community near you in 2020!

Grey County, in partnership with Southgate, is developing an innovative, “Made in Grey” transit solution to meet the transportation needs of Grey County residents.

Two local transit solution are in the works. The first in Hanover and its surrounding area will support student transportation to and from Launch Pad. The second along Highway 6 between Owen Sound and Wiarton will help connect people with services.

Two fixed routes are also planned along Highway 26 from Owen Sound to The Blue Mountains, and Highway 6/10 from Owen Sound to Orangeville.

To be effective, GTR needs to work for riders. Please take a few moments to complete our short survey and help us better understand your unique needs.

Grey County has received $1,850,000 under the Province of Ontario’s Community Transportation Program. Funding will support local and intercommunity transportation projects.
