On September 5, 2020 at 9:28 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a single vehicle crash along Bruce County Road 4 in Brant Township. Officers attended with Bruce County Paramedics to find an E-bike had left the roadway. The driver had been drinking alcohol.

A 61-year-old from Arran-Elderslie Township was charged with Operate over 80 milligrams and Drive while Prohibited. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on October 14, 2020 to answer to the charges.
