On January 11, 2018 at approximately 2:54 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Grey Rd. 16 approximately 1 km east of Grey Rd. 3 in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The vehicle, a commercial truck, was travelling westbound on Grey Rd. 16 when it left the roadway. The vehicle entered the ditch and flipped over on its side. There were no injuries reported, however, the truck's cargo - two skids of alcohol - didn't survive.

The 24-year old driver from Kitchener was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
