salmonCrime Stoppers of Grey Bruce and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry are seeking the public's help in identifying those responsible for abandoning nine salmon caught by an angler.

On March 26, 2018 a Conservation Officer responded to a report of discarded fish located near a footbridge over the Pottawatomi River in Owen Sound. The officer located nine fresh, whole salmon that were placed in a large garbage bag and tossed into the river.

It's believed the fish were caught sometime over the weekend and discarded between the evening of March 24th and early morning of March 25th.
