Sometime over night on Friday March 29th someone broke into the Sunrise Carwash located at 1805 17th Street East, Owen Sound.

The culprit(s) were able to gain entry by manipulating the lock on the buildings rear door. Once inside the individual(s) utilized a cutting tool and cut their way through the rear stainless steel door to the change machine. The suspect(s) were eventually successful in their endeavour and left with a quantity of bills and change.

The Owen Sound Police Identifications Unit attended the scene to assist with the investigation and the collection of evidence. Police continue with their investigation.
