OS Police target fullOn July 26th, 2019 Owen Sound Police Service alerted local businesses and the general public about counterfiet $100 bills that were circulating in the area. On the evening of July 31st Owen Sound Police Service concluded their investigation with the arrest of a 32 year old Owen Sound man.

The male party has been charged with several counts of distributing and possessing counterfiet money as well as fraud, theft and breach of his probation order. The male party is being held pending a bail hearing on August 1st.

Police caution local businesses that there may be some of the counterfeit $100 bills still circulating in the area. The bills that have been seized have identical serial numbers (EKR2223601) and a blue stamp on the back.
