Ontario Provincial Police LogoOn September 8, 2019 at 10:38 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to multiple traffic complaints involving a (white) Sport Utility Vehicle southbound on Highway 6, Northern Bruce Peninsula. OPP stopped the vehicle and observed the driver to be under the influence of drugs. The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while impaired. The driver was tested by an officer trained as a Drug Recognition Evaluator.

A 57 year old Kincardine man has been charged with operation of motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, section 320.14(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada.

The accused has been released on a Promise to Appear with a court date for Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on September 26, 2019.
