On November 5, 2019 at 12:31 p.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision involving a sport utility vehicle at Silver Lake Road, between Bruce Road 14 and Municipal Road, South Bruce Peninsula.

OPP officers were assisted at the scene by Bruce County Paramedics and South Bruce Peninsula Fire Department. A 26 year old male driver had to be removed from the vehicle by South Bruce Peninsula fire department. He was transported by air ambulance to hospital with life threatening injuries.

OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are assisting with the investigation.

Grey Bruce OPP have Silver Lake Road closed, between Bruce Road 14 and Municipal Road.
