OS Policesept fullIn order to ensure the health of our employees and the public we serve, we request that members of the public avoid coming to the Owen Sound Police Station. The Police Station will remain open for emergency situations and where persons are required to report to the station pursuant to a court order. If you are unsure whether you need to attend the police station, please call ahead.

If you do require police assistance, you will be asked to disclose whether you are exhibiting any respiratory like symptoms as a courtesy so that members and employees may respond accordingly.

In some situations, officers may be able to speak with individuals by phone, or at a safe social distance.

If you require a Criminal Record Check, please do not attend the police station. On Monday, March 23rd we will have a portal on our website to obtain criminal record checks. Processing time will be approximately 2 to 3 weeks. For any other reports and licencing that you may require, please contact the records office at 519-376-1234 ext. 216

For non-emergencies, dial 519-376-1234 or use our on-line reporting system- www.owensoundpolice.com/report-crime When using our on-line system please make sure;

· This is NOT an Emergency
· This incident occurred within the Owen Sound City limits
· There are No Known suspects
· You have a valid email address
