On June 4, 2020 at 6:01 a.m. Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police executed a Search Warrant at a residence at Parker Street West in Meaford, Ontario. Grey Bruce OPP officers assisted Grey Bruce Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) members and Huron-Perth CSCU members with the warrant.
Officers arrested three people and police have seized a quantity of Cocaine, Morphine, Methamphetamine, Hydromorphone, several other drugs and drug paraphernalia, along with two prohibited weapons.
A 58 years old from Meaford is charged with the following offences:
Two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance (Cocaine & Opioid) for the purpose of trafficking, section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA)
Four counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance, section 4(1) CDSA
Two counts of unauthorized possession of weapon, section 91(2) of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on August 13, 2020.
A 49 year old from Meaford is charged with the following offences:
Two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance (Cocaine & Opioid) for the purpose of trafficking, section 5(2) CDSA
Five counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance, section 4(1) CDSA
The accused was released on an Undertaking and is scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Owen Sound on August 13, 2020.
A 30 year old from Meaford is charged with the following offences:
Two counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance (Cocaine & Opioid) for the purpose of trafficking, section 5(2) CDSA
Four counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 substance, section 4(1) CDSA
Failing to comply with release order, section 145(5)(a) CC
The accused will appear for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice on June 4, 2020.
