The Township of Chatsworth & District (TCDMHA) JCO Tree Farm U15C Rebels took the gold medal at the Provincial Championships in Toronto on Sunday with a 2-0 win over the Kanata Rangers.  

Bree Wilkins scored both for the Rebels while Sommer McComb posted the shutout in the championship game.

McComb was perfect in the playoff round posting three straight shutouts as the Rebels beat the Wallaceburg Lakers 3-0 in the semifinals and the West Oxford Inferno 4-0 in the quarterfinals en route to the final.

The Rebels finished first in their pool beating the Lambeth Lancers 7-1, the Nepean Wildcats 1-0, and tying the St. Mary’s Rock 1-1.

The championship game was game number 50 for the Rebels who finished the season with 42 wins, three losses, and five ties.
