attack-white-fullLooking to continue their momentum after three consecutive victories, the Owen Sound Attack will square off against a pair of divisional rivals in two games this weekend.

Owen Sound will continue their stretch against the Midwest Division by travelling to London to take on the Knights on Friday, Jan. 26 at the Budweiser Gardens.

Slated for a 7:30pm start, the teams will meet for the 5th time this season with the Knights (25-17-2-2, 54 Points, 2nd MW) leading the season series 3-1.

The rivals most recently met on Sunday, Dec. 17 with London claiming a 1-0 victory over the Attack in Owen Sound.

Entering Friday's game, Owen Sound holds a record of 19-18-2-5, good for 45 points and just three points back of Guelph for 3rd in the Midwest Division.

London played the division leading Kitchener Rangers on Tuesday night, falling in a shootout in their first game of the week.

Depleted after trading away a large part of their core, the Knights are powered by rearguard and draft eligible prospect Evan Bouchard who has 54 points in 45 games of action this season.

London native Nick Suzuki continues to pace the Attack offensively, having put up eight points in his previous three outings to give him 60 in 40 games on the year; good for 5th in the OHL.

Fans can watch Friday night's game live on Rogers Local 53, or tune into Fred Wallace's call on Kia of Owen Sound/Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio on 560 CFOS.

Following the tilt, the Bayshore Boys will return to Owen Sound to host the Guelph in another 7:30pm start.

Also the 5th meeting of the year between the Midwest Division rivals, Guelph has blanked the Attack in the season series thus far, winning all four previous games.

Like the Knights, the Storm are powered by defenceman Ryan Merkley and his 52 points on the season, while draft eligible forward Cam Hillis is 2nd in team scoring with 40 points by way of 17 goals and 23 assists.

Tickets for Saturday's game are limited, but can be purchased at the MacVicar & McComb ReMax Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com, or by calling 519-371-7452.
