Like so many Canadians, apprehension turned to disbelief and shock, and then to deep sorrow as Putin went to war with Ukraine.
Like so many Canadians, I have roots in Ukraine – Canada has the third largest population of Ukrainians after Ukraine itself and Russia.
When the world seems in total chaos
And there is nothing you can do,
To squelch the fear, rebuild the loss,
Lift out of moods of blue.
Turn down the news with violent views ...
On February 25th 2022 at 10:25 p.m. the Hanover and District Hospital received a bomb threat. The building was evacuated for precautionary reasons and the hospital secured.
A search was conducted with negative results, as nothing suspicious was located. The hospital will resume regular operations in the morning.
