Sandra died peacefully at the age of 75 at Hospice Wellington in Guelph on February 19, 2022 after living for six years with mesothelioma. She was born Sandra Jean Noble in Toronto on March 15, 1946, to John and Nell (nee Upchan) Noble. She was the wife, partner and friend of Andrew for 52 years, the proud mother of sons Owen (Natalie) and Alexander (Andréa), and the loving grandmother to Samuel, Julia, Olivia and Jasper.
