On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, the Province of Ontario announced a third State of Emergency, accompanied by a Stay-at-Home Order. The Stay-at-Home Order went into effect on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at 12:01 a.m. for 28 days.

As a result of this announcement, the City of Owen Sound’s Household Hazardous Waste Day Event, originally scheduled for this coming Saturday, April 17, 2021, has been cancelled.

The next Household Hazardous Waste Day Event is scheduled for Saturday, May 15, 2021.
