The Library is pleased to host a zoom author visit - Hockey Writing in Canada with authors Eric Zweig and Paul White. The two talented writers and friends will share some of their stories about hockey, researching and writing. The authors will visit via zoom on Thursday, February 17th at 7 pm.

Eric Zweig has been writing professionally since 1985 and has published more than 40 books for adults and children since his first in 1992. He worked for more than 20 years, from 1996 to 2018, with a small company in Toronto that produced media publications for the NHL. He has lived in Owen Sound since 2006. Eric’s most recent book is Hockey Hall of Fame True Stories. Eric’s website is at http://ericzweig.com/

Paul White has been writing about history and hockey for more than two decades. His books include Owen Sound: The Port City, Hockey’s Royal Family: The Conachers, and Shooting For The Moon: The Bill Beagan Story. During the month of February, Paul is donating $5 from every copy sold of his new book, Journey Through Owen Sound’s Hockey History, to the Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library.
