Lunch with Local Leaders is an event that gives young professionals and entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to network and learn from local, well established individuals who have successful careers. A few local leaders will speak to the group while others are sitting at the tables with the young professionals to listen and socialize.
This event is put on by United Way GenNext, a local group which aims to bring together young professionals and entrepreneurs who want to give back to our communities through quarterly networking, volunteering, and fundraising events.
This event will take place at the Best Western Inn on the Bay in Owen Sound on Tuesday October 25th 2022 from 12pm-2pm. The cost will be $40 with proceeds going to United Way Bruce Grey. Tax receipts (of $10) will be issued upon ticket purchase, and additional donations are always welcomed. Tickets can be purchased at GenNextBG.com.
Schedule:
- 12pm – Arrival finding seats and mingle with other attendees
- 12:30pm – Welcome chat from United Way and buffet lunch begins
- 1pm – Local Leaders speak
- 1:45pm – Open question period/closing remarks from United Way
- 2-3pm – Free professional headshots offered and extra networking time for those who wish to stay
