The 37th Annual Authors' Open House will take place at The Ginger Press Bookshop in downtown Owen Sound this Saturday, December 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This long-standing celebration of local literary talent showcases many authors who have written a wide variety of books from local history, to children's books, hockey books, poetry, essay collection, and so much more.

This year's Authors' Open House will also include the launches two very recently published books: The Flemings of Derby Township by Gwen Harris and Ruth Fleming Larmour (a 544-page comprehensive limited-edition history of one family's determination and resourcefulness as pioneers in Kilsyth); and The Owen Sounders: Profiles of People Who Made a Difference by Richard Thomas.
