Innovation as a product of necessity is part and parcel of rural life, and an upcoming exhibit features local inventors who made a lasting difference.

Bruce County Museum's Made In Bruce opens next month:

*****

On Saturday, Jan. 14, the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is set to open its first exhibit of 2023, Made in Bruce, showcasing the innovative contributions of past Bruce County residents.

This exhibit will highlight Bruce County inventors who made their mark by applying creativity to develop inventions and modifications that set products apart from competition.

“Innovation isn’t something that just happens in urban centres,” says Museum Director Cathy McGirr. “Innovation is all about making things better and in many cases out of necessity. This exhibition showcases the innovative spirit and resourcefulness of many individuals within Bruce County.”
